Specna Arms Sten Mk.II Retro X-ASR AEG

The Specna Arms Retro series was developed in collaboration with S&T and AGM to bring iconic historical firearms to the airsoft world. These replicas faithfully recreate the appearance and character of the original weapons, making them an excellent choice for collectors, historical enthusiasts, WWII re-enactments and themed airsoft events.

The Sten Mk.II is one of the most recognisable British submachine guns of the Second World War. Designed to be as simple, inexpensive and quick to manufacture as possible, it allowed Britain to rapidly equip its armed forces during wartime. More than four million Sten submachine guns were produced, with many also manufactured clandestinely in occupied Europe for resistance movements.

Specna Arms has recreated this historic firearm with a construction made primarily from steel, providing excellent durability and an authentic feel. The pistol grip panels are made from durable polymer, while the overall appearance closely follows the original weapon used between 1941 and 1945.

The replica can be quickly field stripped by removing the bolt that secures the stock to the receiver. The tubular stock also houses the battery, preserving the authentic external appearance without visible battery compartments. The battery compartment measures approximately 265 mm in length with an internal diameter of around 21 mm, so selecting a suitably sized battery is recommended.

Internally, the replica features a Version 7 gearbox, an adjustable Hop-Up unit and a GATE X-ASR MOSFET. The MOSFET protects the electrical system, improves trigger response and extends the lifespan of both the battery and electronic components. Integrated LED diagnostics also help identify basic electrical faults.

The included 120-round Mid-Cap magazine offers realistic capacity without the rattling associated with high-capacity magazines. With a muzzle velocity of approximately 113 m/s (370 FPS with 0.20 g BBs), the replica is well suited for most airsoft fields.
