Specna Arms Sten Mk.II(S) Command Grip Retro X-ASR/Tracer AEG

The Sten Mk.II(S) Command Grip is a rare variant of the famous Sten Mk.II(S) (Special Purpose), developed during the Second World War for the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) to support covert operations behind enemy lines. In this experimental configuration, the traditional wire stock was replaced with a compact command grip, making the weapon shorter and easier to manoeuvre in confined spaces. Similar configurations were developed for airborne troops and special forces operating in demanding environments.

The Specna Arms Sten Mk.II(S) Command Grip Retro X-ASR/Tracer AEG is an airsoft replica of this unique configuration. Its compact design, distinctive suppressor and steel construction make it an excellent choice for historical enthusiasts, re-enactments and WWII-themed airsoft games.

The replica is constructed primarily from steel. The receiver, magazine well, charging handle, trigger guard, Command Grip pistol grip and iron sights are all made from steel. The removable suppressor is manufactured from aluminium and houses both the battery and the GATE X-ASR MOSFET, preserving the replica's authentic external appearance.

The included tracer unit illuminates tracer BBs and simulates muzzle flash, creating an impressive visual effect, especially during low-light and night games. The tracer is rechargeable via the included USB-C charging cable.

Internally, the replica features a Version 7 gearbox, GATE X-ASR MOSFET and an adjustable Hop-Up unit. The MOSFET protects the electrical system, improves trigger response and extends the service life of both the battery and internal electronics. Integrated LED diagnostics also make it easier to identify basic electrical faults.

The included 120-round Mid-Cap magazine provides realistic capacity without the rattling associated with Hi-Cap magazines. A muzzle velocity of approximately 134 m/s (440 FPS with 0.20 g BBs) makes the replica particularly well suited for outdoor airsoft fields, while its authentic construction makes it an excellent choice for historical-themed airsoft games.
