Specna Arms SVD Retro Sniper Rifle

The SVD Dragunov is one of the most recognisable sniper rifles ever produced. Introduced by the Soviet Union in the 1960s, it was designed as a designated marksman rifle, combining extended effective range with the reliability required for military service. Its distinctive silhouette has made it an icon of military history, films and video games alike.

The Specna Arms SVD Retro is a spring-powered airsoft replica that faithfully recreates the appearance and character of the original rifle. It is available in two versions: the Polymer model with durable polymer furniture, and the Real Wood version featuring a genuine wooden stock and handguard for an even more authentic appearance and feel.

The outer barrel, flash hider, gas block, gas tube, receiver and magazine are made from metal, while the magazine body, pins and screws are manufactured from steel. A wooden cheek rest with a soft pad is included to improve shooting comfort when aiming.

As a spring-powered replica, the rifle must be cocked before each shot, offering a simple, reliable and low-maintenance shooting experience. The receiver features the traditional side dovetail mount, allowing the installation of optics such as a PSO-1 style scope.

Internally, the rifle is equipped with a steel cylinder, steel spring guide, aluminium piston and an adjustable Hop-Up unit, providing a durable and reliable internal platform.

The included 33-round Low-Cap magazine offers realistic capacity without the rattling associated with Hi-Cap magazines. A muzzle velocity of approximately 116 m/s (380 FPS with 0.20 g BBs) makes the rifle suitable for most airsoft fields, while its authentic appearance makes it an excellent choice for historical-themed airsoft games and collectors.
