The Tokarev TT-33 (officially 7.62 mm Samozaryadnyj Pistolet Tokareva obraztsa 1930 goda , or "7.62 mm Tokarev self-loading pistol model 1930") is a Russian semi-automatic pistol developed in the early 1930s by Fedor Tokarev. The pistol entered service with the Red Army as a replacement for the Nagant M1895 revolver, which had been the service weapon of the army since Tsarist times. The SRC model is made of aluminum and plastic.
