US Army BDU field jacket made of full cotton ripstop reinforced fabric. The fabric is full cotton.
The BDU, Battle Dress Uniform, is a field uniform that the US Army adopted in 1983. It was developed from the jungle uniform of the Vietnam War into a general field uniform for all-purpose use in warm weather, and for civilian use it is still one of the best options for field uniforms in the summer. It or the pants/jacket separately are also very suitable for everyday use as casual clothing.
The jacket fastens with buttons and has a conventional, turn-down collar. Four large pockets. Tightening buttons on the cuffs, sometimes also on the sides. Double fabric on the elbows. All buttons are covered with fabric flaps so that they are not visible and do not get in the way, catching on equipment or nature.
Manufacturer Teesar Inc. Dimensions are American sizes.
