US BDU ripstop pants, slim fit

Slim fit version of the US Army BDU trousers. These models are more body-hugging than the traditional BDU trousers. The legs of the trousers have been narrowed and the cut has been somewhat rethought - both in terms of use and appearance.

The pants are made of full cotton ripstop reinforced fabric, so the pants are resistant to wear and even minor tears.

There are plenty of pockets in the pants: two large thigh pockets, two back pockets and two side pockets. Except for the side pockets, the pockets are button-fastened and have protective flaps. The pants have large double pockets in the areas of greatest wear, i.e. the knees and the back area. These and the durable material make the pants long-lasting. There are tightening straps at the leg openings, so the pants stay inside the shoes without external aids. The waist size can also be adjusted with two loops.

Which BDU is which?

The Battle Dress Uniform, or Battle Dress Uniform, was adopted by the US Army in 1983. It was developed from the jungle uniform of the Vietnam War into a general-purpose uniform for all-weather use, and for civilian use it is still one of the best options for summer field uniforms. It, or the pants/jacket separately, is also very suitable for everyday casual wear.
