The SGR-12, manufactured by Tokyo Marui, is an electric-powered, three-barrel shotgun that fires three rounds at a time from three different barrels. Of course, the SGR-12 can also be used for single-barrel shooting. The hops of each barrel can be adjusted separately, allowing you to control the dispersion of the rounds and the points of impact. Handy, right?
This 4.5kg monster also has a built-in fuse to improve rate of fire and reduce trigger lag, as well as to protect the electrical contacts inside the mechanism. The fuse also protects against over-powered batteries, so 11.1V LiPo batteries cannot be used in the weapon. It is recommended to use 8.4V/9.6V NiMH or 7.4V LiPo batteries in the weapon.
The SGR-12's finish is guaranteed Marui quality. The gun's frame is stylishly matte-coated metal and the butt is made of high-quality polymer. On top of the gun there is a 2-piece traditional picatinny/weaver sight rail for the included flip-up sights or for installing a separate optic. There is also a piece of picatinny/weaver rail on the bottom of the frame, e.g. for the front handle. On the sides of the front handle there are mounting points for M-LOK rails. The package comes with three M-LOK mounting rails of different lengths.
