USGI ECWCS Gore-Tex Pants, surplus - Woodland

Authentic woodland patterned Gore-Tex camouflage pants from the US Army ECWCS system. This model was used by both the US Army and Marine Corps before the digital era.

The pants are not just rain pants, but standard equipment for cold and wet weather. The pants are waterproof, but the waterproofness is not based on a rubber coating, but on a membrane that does not allow liquid water to pass through, but allows evaporated moisture to escape.

ECWCS pants are simple in design. They can be quickly pulled on over other clothing when wet weather strikes, but of course they also work as independent pants.
