VFC M16A2 Carbine (Colt M727) V3 GBB gas rifle

The VFC M16A2 Carbine GBBR (M727) is a gas-operated airsoft rifle that combines durable materials with the reliable new generation VFC V3 M4/AR-15 gas system.

The weapon is modeled after the Colt M727, also known as the Colt M16A2 Government Carbine. The model was introduced in the 1980s and was widely used by US special forces (such as the Navy SEALs and Delta Force) from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s, and was used, among other things, in the Battle of Mogadishu by Delta Force in 1993 (Black Hawk Down). Before the official introduction of the M4 carbine, Colt developed several short-barreled M16 variants specifically for use by special forces. The Model 727 was an advanced version of these carbines: it offered the controllability of the M16A2 but in a more compact size. This gas-operated airsoft version from VFC is based on this model - it is the third non-M4-style Colt carbine replica in VFC's lineup, after the previous XM177E2 and M733 models. The Airsoft version is therefore a great fit for those building a more traditional playset!

The VFC V3 GBBR is designed to withstand intensive use and provide a realistic shooting experience in game use. Steel parts include the flame arrester, bolt-catch and several internal parts. Aluminum is used in the frame, barrel, RIS rail, charging handle and sights. The pistol grip, slim-style handguards and adjustable tactical stock are made of durable polymer, which improves the ergonomics and comfort of the weapon.

The rifle's powerful blowback function and adjustable Hop-Up system provide reliable and accurate performance. 14 mm CCW threads allow for the attachment of silencers and other accessories. The weapon is made under Colt license, so the weapon's markings are also as authentic as possible. Colt markings can be found on both the body and the magazine.
