The Luger P04, or Marine Luger, is a special version of the classic Parabellum P08 pistol designed for use by the German Kriegsmarine, or Imperial German Navy. This model was introduced in 1904 and stands out with several special features that make it of interest to both history buffs and collectors.

How is the real P04 different from the P08?

Longer Barrel: The Luger P04 typically has a 6-inch (150 mm) barrel, making it slightly longer than the standard P08. This improves accuracy and makes it an excellent choice for naval use, where longer range was beneficial.

Elevation-adjustable rear sight: The P04 originally had an adjustable rear sight, which allowed for more accurate shooting at longer ranges. This was useful in maritime conditions.

Design of the charging handle and other parts: Some details of the Luger P04 have been modified to adapt to the needs of the Navy, and these small differences are considered important for authenticity.

Limited production: The Luger P04 was produced in a more limited quantity than the P08, and was used primarily by naval units, making it highly sought after by collectors.
