A chest strap with a quick release buckle, suitable for backpacks and knapsacks. The strap helps to keep the load in place while the user is on the move by connecting the shoulder straps across the chest. The strap helps to transfer weight from the shoulder, allowing the arms to move better.

In terms of strap attachment, it is advantageous if the backpack or rucksack has some kind of loops on the straps to prevent the chest strap from moving along the carrying straps. The strap is 25 mm wide, but can be compressed to a smaller size if necessary.
