AEG Tappet Plates

AEG tappet plates control the movement of the air nozzle inside the gearbox of an electric airsoft gun. The tappet plate links the sector gear to the nozzle and pulls it backward so a BB can feed from the magazine into the hop-up chamber. When the plate moves forward again, the nozzle pushes the BB into position and seals the air path before the shot.

The tappet plate plays an important role in synchronizing BB feeding and gearbox timing. A worn or damaged tappet plate can lead to feeding problems, inconsistent velocity, or air seal issues.
