Magpul Suppressor Cover 5.5 Inch - Black

The Magpul Suppressor Cover installs directly onto a suppressor to shield against heat and cool it with airflow. It protects the shooter, clothing and equipment from a hot suppressor.

The outer shell is heat-resistant polymer. Inside, a raised stainless steel heat shield clamps directly to the suppressor with two clamps and supports the outer shell. Shaped gaps encourage airflow so the cover does not retain heat. It reduces the suppressor's thermal signature and mirage in the sight picture, and it cushions the suppressor against impacts. It has been tested to SOCOM abuse requirements with suppressors exceeding 1300 °F surface temperature.
