Maple Leaf MR AEG hop rubber - 50°

Top quality R-hop style MR hop rubber made by Maple Leaf for traditional electric airsoft guns. MR or "Maximum Range" hop rubber offers maximum range for the bullet without sacrificing accuracy.

The Maple Leaf MR hop rubber has a long and wide R-hop style contact surface/hop bulge, creating a better contact area that provides a smooth and powerful spin to the ball, significantly improving the accuracy and range of the ball compared to traditional hop rubber. This also allows the use of heavier balls.

The feed lips of the MR hop rubber, like the Super Macaron hop rubber, are slightly longer and thicker than usual, which provides improved sealing. It is worth noting that in this case the correct length of the nozzle is more important. Incorrectly sized nozzle => possible feeding problems.

The "normal", round/bumpy presser of a normal hop unit will press the MR rubber contact area into a curved shape, so it is recommended to use Maple Leaf's own or a similar bridge-shaped presser.

50 (green) below 110 m/s (1.2 J)

60 (yellow) 90-120 m/s (0.8-1.5 J)

70 (blue) 110-140 m/s (1.2-2 J)

75 (red) 130-150 m/s (1.7-2.25 J)

80 (black) over 150 m/s (2.25 J)

In our own experience, our recommendations are towards 60 hardness rubber for normal outdoor weapons, i.e. up to 1.7J. The weather in Finland is more merciless (colder) even in the summer. Softer rubber plays better.
