The Specna Arms SA-E19 EDGE Gen.2 HAL2 ETU is an official Daniel Defense® licensed full metal MK18 replica that offers a realistic look, modern internals and an advanced HAL2 control unit. The compact design makes this model a nimble yet sturdy electric weapon that performs flawlessly in both CQB and outdoor arenas.

The gun is made in collaboration with EMG Arms and features official Daniel Defense® markings on the frame and RIS II forend. The frame, outer barrel, RIS forend, charging handle and sling loops are made of metal, while the stock, pistol grip, sights and the vertical grip that comes with the package are made of polymer. The construction is rigid, free of play and can withstand intensive gaming use. The SF-style stock offers plenty of battery space.

Internally, the SA-E19 utilizes the best of the EDGE Gen.2 series: a reinforced Aether™ Ver.2 gearbox with ESA™ quick spring change, a 6.03 mm precision barrel, a Magnus™ TDC Hop-Up chamber, and a Helium™ Flat Hop rubber. The HAL2 system brings an adjustable trigger, programmable fire modes, and a stable Bluetooth connection for the Specna Link™ app.

Aether™ gearbox and internals

The Aether™ gearbox is designed as the heart of the Specna Arms EDGE Gen.2 series, offering exceptional durability and versatile features. The gearbox body is reinforced to withstand heavy use and high spring forces. This ensures reliability over long periods of use. The gearbox is designed with inspection windows that allow you to easily check the Angle of Engagement (AOE) adjustments and pre-tension without having to disassemble the entire system. The gearbox’s precise screw holes ensure proper alignment and balance of the parts, which improves service life and reliability. The gearbox is equipped with 8mm J-cage ball bearings (in the motor and piston gears) and 8mm plain bearings (in the sun gear), which ensure smooth and efficient operation at high rotational speeds. The anti-reversal release hole allows for easy spring release, preventing tension on the parts and preventing damage. The trigger tension adjustment screw allows for precise adjustment of trigger sensitivity, providing the player with optimal feel and response. The ESA™ quick spring change makes it easy to change power to suit venue output limitations without having to disassemble the gearbox.

This airsoft gun is equipped with an advanced HAL² ™ control unit. HAL² ™ is a high-tech electronic control unit that acts as the brain of the airsoft gun. The Hall effect trigger offers adjustable trigger sensitivity with up to 500 sensitivity points. Unlike ETU units with optical sensors, the HAL² control unit is not sensitive to dirt or external light. The single-circuit board system ensures quick and trouble-free installation. The built-in Bluetooth® Low Energy module provides an easy and stable connection to your phone for configuration, while ensuring extended battery life of the airsoft gun. Multiple sensors ensure flawless operation of the gun and prevent possible damage if a problem is detected. The free Specna Link ™ application (available for Android and iOS) allows you to control all features of the HAL2 ™ system.
