Motor Pinion Gears

Motor pinion gears are small gears mounted on the motor shaft of an electric airsoft gun. The pinion gear transfers the motor’s rotation to the gearbox gear train and drives the bevel gear, which then powers the rest of the gearbox mechanism.

Because the pinion gear is the first point of contact between the motor and gearbox, its condition is important for smooth operation. A worn or damaged pinion gear can cause gear noise, loss of efficiency, or premature wear of other gearbox components.
