AEG Delayer Chips

Delayer chips are small gearbox upgrade parts installed on the sector gear of an electric airsoft gun. Their purpose is to delay the return of the tappet plate and keep the air nozzle retracted for a slightly longer period during the firing cycle.

By extending this timing window, the magazine has more time to feed a BB into the hop-up chamber before the nozzle moves forward. This can significantly improve feeding reliability, especially in high-speed AEG builds with a high rate of fire.

Delayer chips are commonly used as a tuning component in high-speed or heavily upgraded gearboxes where feeding issues may otherwise occur.
