Anti-Reversal Latches

Anti-reversal latches (ARL) are gearbox components used in electric airsoft guns to prevent the gears from rotating backward after a firing cycle. The latch engages with the bevel gear and locks the gear train when the motor stops.

By preventing reverse rotation, the anti-reversal latch protects internal parts such as the piston teeth and sector gear from damage caused by the spring tension pushing the gears backward.
