If you thought the classic Soldier 95 trousers in MTP camouflage couldn’t be improved, you were wrong. The British Army Personal Clothing System (PCS) Combat Trouser MTP, windproof takes the familiar S95-style cut and updates it with practical improvements that actually matter in real use. This is a newer generation field trouser designed to perform in changing conditions.

The biggest upgrade is in the fabric. These trousers are made from a thicker and denser material, which provides noticeably better wind resistance compared to the standard S95. In practice, this makes them a solid choice for variable weather, especially in conditions where wind and cooler temperatures become a factor. The 50/50 cotton-polyester blend offers a good balance between durability and breathability.

The overall construction follows the typical British military approach. A button closure combined with a zip fly ensures reliable fastening, while the oversized belt loops allow the use of almost any combat belt, up to approximately 80–85 mm wide. Storage is straightforward and functional: hook-and-loop closure side pockets, buttoned cargo pockets on the thighs, and a single buttoned rear pocket on the right side. Reinforced fabric in the seat area improves durability, especially during extended use in the field or on the range.

The lower legs feature hook-and-loop adjustments, allowing the cuffs to be opened for easier dressing, even while wearing boots. They can also be tightened as needed for a more secure fit.

Sizing is given in three measurements: inseam, waist, and seat, making it easier to find a proper fit.
